Q: When asked for your Name. What is the "Name field"? What do I put into the Name Field? A: When you find a field that asks for your Name enter only your first name. Q: Captcha Numbers What is Captcha and why is it here? A: Captcha numbers are used to prevent automated scripts from signing up or posting spam. Captcha is design to create input letters or numbers that in theory only people (humans) and not machines can see. We use them to cut down on spam mail sent to our members that post in our site. Q: Email Address What should I use for my email address? A: First of all use your email address that you check each day. Next make sure you type your email address correctly into the field. Your email address will also be your login name. We limit the types of email addresses used to sign up based on several factors. The first is to prevent spam so we only accept at this time domain extensions for the USA. Q: Password How do I select a password? A: During your registration our system will generate a password for you and send it to the email address you used to sign up. The password is random and can be changed once you login. Our sytem encrypts one way using 128bit encryption all passwords. Then means we can not see your password or understand what it is on the server. We can not "Send" you your password and any site that offers such a feature is not storing your password with one way encryption. Our method is the strongest method of protecting your login password. But as always you need to not use common words and should be mixing letters and numbers in your passwords. View "How to Reset your Password" under our General Help Category. Q: Job Seeker / Job Hunter What does Job Seeker mean in the sign up and register page? A: If you are looking for a job and would like to post your work experience here you will need to select Job Seeker. Q: Employers, Recruiters, Job Posters What does the Employers selection box do? A: Select the Employer Check Box if you plan on posting jobs online. Employers, contactors looking for help, staffing agencies and recruiters need to select Employer to be able to post job positions online with us. There is no charge for the posting. Do not select Job Seeker and Employer because our system will default you to Job Seeker even if you are an employer. You will have to contact us if you have selected the wrong group. Q: Commercial Resellers, Retailers Business What is the commercial reseller selection box for? A: If you are a retailer, online reseller or store owner select our commercial seller account. We have some added features that help commercial resellers that will help promote your business better. Q: HTML Email Format What is HTML email format? A: HTML is used to make the webpages you view have layout and embeded objects. Email programs work the same and some restrict HTML not showing content or images. If you do not know what HTML email format is then it is best not to check this box. If you select HTML you may have to mark the email from our site as safe to display the message correctly. Q: What are the generic top-level domains? What are the generic top-level domains? A: The multi-letter top-level domains (like .COM, .NET, .ORG etc) are called generic top-level domains (gTLDs). Click here for a long list. Q: What are the country code top-level domains? Test : What are the country code top-level domains? A: There is a 2-letter top-level domain for each country (for example: .FR for France, or .JP for Japan). These are called country code top-level domains or ccTLDs. A: 1. Follow the link Password Reset from the login page. 2. Enter the Captcha Numbers and your account email. 3. Wait for your email to arrive. If you feel like you have been waiting to long for your password reset then we will suggest you do not request another password reset. The single biggest issue with using email communications is spam filters and spam blockers. Some ISP’s have very difficult spam filters and we need to go around them and forward passwords directly. These are only Temporary passwords and it is your responsibility to change your password once you login. If you request more than one password resent you will find your wait is longer. We will be notified by your ISP if there is a delay or if the email will not reach you. In these cases we will manually forward your password email. If you have more than 1 request in a 24 hour period we might be forwarding the wrong temporary password. This will only lead to longer delays and could possibility become frustrating because your password reset has been reset again. We can only give advice and that is one per 24 hour period. It’s up to you to follow it. Have a great day! Below is a list of ISP’s that typically slow our email to a crawl. Hotmail.com ComCast.net Izoom.net Earthlink (Some accounts with Confirm Sender Enabled or Other Confirmation settings.) |
